Permission is granted to download software on EduIQ's web site "classroomspy.com". This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

- use the materials for any other purpose that using the application;
- attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on this web site;
- remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
- transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.
This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by EduIQ at any time. Cancellation Policy
At EduIQ, we understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel your ongoing subscriptions. We aim to make the cancellation process as straightforward as possible while ensuring transparency and fairness to our customers.

Subscription Cancellation:
- Ongoing subscriptions and recurring charges can be canceled at any time by the subscriber.
- The cancellation will take effect from the next billing period following the cancellation request.

Future Billing:
Cancelling a subscription will only impact future billings. You will continue to have access to the subscribed services until the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation Process:
Users have two options for canceling their subscriptions:
- Self-Cancellation: You can follow the instructions provided in the last email regarding recurring charges to initiate the cancellation process independently.
- Customer Support Assistance: Alternatively, you can contact our customer support team, and we will assist you in canceling the subscription on your behalf.

No Refunds for Partial Billing Periods:
Please note that we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
Refund Policy
At EduIQ, we are committed to providing high-quality educational resources and services to our customers. We understand that there may be instances where you need to request a refund. Our refund policy outlines the process and conditions for requesting a refund.

Classroom Spy Pro and GDPR Compliance
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) applies to the processing of personal data in the European Union. Classroom Spy Pro can be used as part of a GDPR-compliant school policy, but the school or organization using the software is responsible for deciding why monitoring is needed, which lawful basis applies, what users are told, who can access stored data, and how long stored data is kept.
Classroom Spy Pro helps teachers supervise student computers. Because this can involve personal data, schools should use the information below when preparing records of processing activities, risk assessments, procurement reviews, acceptable use policies, and privacy notices.

How Classroom Spy Pro Processes Personal Data
Classroom Spy Pro is a student computer monitoring and classroom collaboration tool. It is an on-premises solution. In a typical installation, the school or organization is both the Data Controller and the Data Processor for personal data processed with the software.
The product includes a student module installed on student workstations. This module interacts with and monitors computer usage, then sends data directly to the Classroom Spy Pro Console through a proprietary encrypted protocol. Data is processed and displayed inside the teacher's Console.
Where Personal Data Is Stored
Classroom Spy Pro does not automatically store all personal data, but selected features can be enabled so that the school can retain and store data. Both the Console and the student computer can store data.
- Console data is stored in: C:\ProgramData\Classroom Spy Pro\data
- Student computer data is stored in the folder where the student module is installed. The default location is: C:\Program Files\Classroom Spy Pro

* The lawful basis for processing is decided by the Data Controller, meaning the school or organization using Classroom Spy Pro, not by the provider of Classroom Spy Pro. GDPR Data Subject Rights
The GDPR gives individuals rights regarding the processing of their personal data. The school, as the Data Controller, decides how Classroom Spy Pro is used to support these rights. The information below is provided as guidance.
The Right to Be Informed
Individuals have the right to be informed about the collection and use of their personal data. This is a core GDPR transparency requirement. Schools should use acceptable use policies and privacy notices that clearly explain what monitoring can happen, when monitoring is active, why monitoring is needed, what data may be stored, who can access the data, and how long the data is kept.
The Right of Access
Individuals have the right to access their personal data. This allows them to understand and check the lawfulness of processing. Classroom Spy Pro does not inherently store personal data beyond the active session, but selected functions can be enabled so the school can manually retain and store personal data. Under Article 16 of the GDPR, individuals have the right to correct inaccurate personal data. Classroom Spy Pro does not typically store personal data beyond active sessions, so data editing is usually not needed. Any manually saved data is stored in standard electronic formats.

Classroom Spy Pro does not inherently store personal data, but some functions can be enabled for manual data retention. Whether data portability applies depends on the lawful basis selected by the Data Controller.
The Right to Object
Individuals can object to processing if it relates to their specific situation. Processing must stop unless compelling legitimate grounds override the individual's rights. Classroom Spy Pro is used for school and classroom needs. An objection to processing could affect the school's ability to achieve its teaching, supervision, safeguarding, or compliance goals.
Rights Related to Automated Decision Making and Profiling
Classroom Spy Pro does not engage in automated decision-making.

Is the provider of Classroom Spy Pro the data processor or the data controller?
Once the product is installed, all monitoring data is stored locally on the school's computers. In this context, the provider of Classroom Spy Pro is neither the data controller nor the data processor for that monitoring data.
Is the school the data processor or the data controller within the context of Classroom Spy Pro?
For Classroom Spy Pro users, the school or organization remains the data controller of its own data on the system.
Does Classroom Spy Pro process personal data?
Yes. Personal information associated with individual students is processed by Classroom Spy Pro, so GDPR rules apply to its use. Classroom Spy Pro does not store personal data by default except for recorded activities, but several functions can be enabled so schools can retain and store personal data. If teachers manually save data, the storage location is defined by them.
Does Classroom Spy Pro process sensitive data?
Screen capture data, audio capture data, keyboard monitoring, and some other data listed in the table can be collected by Classroom Spy Pro. Because of the possible nature of this data, it may contain sensitive information and should be treated carefully. The school should document its decision about sensitivity as part of its risk assessment.
Do I need to get consent from all students before I can monitor them with Classroom Spy Pro?
Consent is not normally required. However, schools need to provide clear notification that a system is in place that enables student monitoring. This notification should explain that Classroom Spy Pro can record student activities for monitoring, safeguarding, teaching, compliance, or other documented purposes. Schools should clearly state why monitoring is necessary and how the data will be processed, stored, and deleted.
What if a student does not consent to being monitored?
