Start with the teacher phone or tablet

  1. Use the official iOS and Android Console download links on the downloads page. The phone or tablet is the teacher Console; student phones and tablets are not the monitored Agents.
  2. Install the Agent on a supported student Windows, macOS or Linux computer, keep it running, and have its Agent password and configured port available. Check current platform requirements on the downloads page.
  3. For classroom Wi-Fi, connect to a network that permits communication with the student computers, then scan and add computers. Guest/client isolation can prevent access even on the same Wi-Fi name.
  4. For off-site access, use an authorized reachable VPN route or the mobile Find computers → Cloud path. Configure the same Cloud account on Console and Agent and follow Cloud account and Agent setup. The setup guide's Console screenshots show the desktop interface.
  5. Check one student's updating screen before adding the rest of the class.

Classroom Spy Pro mobile console can be used when a teacher needs to check student computers from a phone or tablet instead of sitting at the teacher computer. It is useful when walking around the classroom, helping students during practical work, checking a computer lab, or quickly stopping a distracting program while a lesson is in progress.

The mobile app is a console only. It monitors and controls student desktop computers where the Agent is installed. It does not monitor phones or tablets used by students.

  • A teacher checks if students are following the lesson while moving through the classroom.
  • A teacher selects several student computers and sends the same classroom action to all of them.
  • A teacher opens Remote control to help one student without sitting at the student desk.
  • A teacher uses Processes view to find and close a game, chat, or browser window that is distracting the class.
